Duane McCoy
Duane
is the founder of IMPACT. He, along with his wife Linda, are members
of the USSSA National and New York State Halls Of Fame. They were
also inducted into Rochester's RSSSA Hall Of Fame. Duane's teams
have won many city, state and national titles and world titles
in 1972 and 1977. Duane, who has taught "every type of hitting
known to mankind" in his 51 years of teaching hitting, came
out of retirement when he found the new rotational hitting. "I
realized that this was so much better than any other type of hitting
that I just had to teach it to the kids". The system is now
being used all over the country with overwhelming results.

Jack McCoy
Jack
has been playing and coaching for 41 years in the Rochester area.
Now in his 3rd year at IMPACT, he runs the boys' hardball division
of the school. He has the distinction of playing in the very first
Rochester area Little League championship game. Jack, a great
hitter in his playing days, is a strong advocate of hitting the
ball in front with straight arms. He is a proponent of seeing
the middle of the ball and snapping the hands through the ball
with the palm up palm down method. His students have been
very successful. Jack is the culprit in the very popular "Nasty
Jack" game which is played at IMPACT.

Brian McCoy
Brian
has been playing since he was 6 years old, is a Webster High graduate
where he played 6 years of hardball. He possesses one of the most
beautiful swings in our area and has raw power to make him one
of the true sluggers. He played American Legion ball with Cottreall
Warner and Irondequoit Post. He now plays for the Rochester Police
Department where he is an officer He will playing 30U and hardball
this summer. Brian has set his sights on golf's "long drive"
contests as he consistently over 350 yards on his drives. Brian,
who has coached modified ball, wants to continue his coaching
once he gets a compatible police schedule.

Linda McCoy
Linda, who
is in her 36th year in the Webster school system, is a phys-ed
teacher Willink Middle School, and softball coordinator for R
L Thomas. She is a 2-time All-World catcher and played for 2 collegiate
national championship teams at John F. Kennedy College in Nebraska.
She has coached softball since 1972 and led Webster to many championships
as a varsity coach. She served 2 years as Monroe County High School
Chairperson for Softball. In 1979, she was selected as high school
coach of the year for New York State, the Eastern Region of the
United States and was one of 7 finalists for U. S. Coach of The
Year. She was named honorary coach the 1997 Exceptional Senior
All-Star game. Linda is a member of the National and State Halls
Fame and is in the city's RSSSA H.O.F. She is a member of the
all-time USSSA team and considered one of the greatest hitters
ever to play.

Benny Barnes
Benny is the Captain and starting catcher for the Williamson High
school team. Last season, his junior year, he was selected as
the Wayne County AIlstar catcher for the 2nd year in a row.This
past summer, he led his Williamson American Legion team with a
.425 batting average. Benny was selected to play in the National
Scouting Report Showcase All-Star Team at St. John Fisher. He
is the starting defender for his school soccer team and will run
track during the winter.
IMPACT Note:
Benny is one of the top catchers in the area, not only
due to his talent, but because of his drive, love of the game
and his headiness.

Kelsey
Bullis
Kelsey played
for the Pittsford Cyclones 14U softball team in 2007. The team finished
the season by playing in the Eastern Nationals in Harrisburg, PA.
This fall, she will be participating in Crew for Mercy High School.
Then in the winter, she will play basketball for Mercy and softball
for the school in the spring. In the summer of 2008, she will be
a member of the Pittsford Cyclones 16U softball team and the Lady
Lakers 15U AAU travel basketball team.
IMPACT Note: Kelsey,
a sophomore, is an outstanding outfielder. Her speed, range, quickness
and strong arm make her one of the top 2 outfielders in our Monroe
County area. |

Kelly
Burns
Kelly, a senior at Webster Thomas high, played first base for the
Varsity last season where she was 2nd team AIICounty. Kelly can
also play the infield and is a very talented outfielder. This coming
season will be her 6th for the school and 8th in the summer program.
Kelly has also played soccer and basketball for the school. She
is a member of the National Honor Society.
IMPACT Note: Kelly has
one of the most beautiful and easy swings at IMPACT. Her speed makes
her one of the best lead-off hitters in the area and an excellent
outfielder. This season will be her first as an IMPACT instructor. |

Carolan
Kelly is a sophomore
Webster Schroeder who has been playing softball for 5 years. This
upcoming season, she will be playing her third year of varsity softball.
She is one of the young and talented group of players that Schroeder
to the section 5 plays the infield and the outfield. Kelly also
plays basketball and is a member the swim team. During summer, plays
for the Webster Xtreme 16U team.
IMPACT
Note: Kelly's
speed makes her an ideal lead-off hitter. She is also earning how
to switch hit in an effort to raise her on base percentage. As an
outfielder, she ranks very high along with 2 other IMPACT instructors,
Kelsey Bullis and Lindsay Stowell. |

Alex
Cilano
Alex,
a senior at Mendon High, has played softball for 5 years in the
school system. She has played summer travel ball for a few teams
including 3 years with the Pittsford Cyclones. This winter will
be her 3rd year of instructing at IMPACT. Alex is in internship
with a dermatology specialist and plans on studying for that profession
in college. She is currently looking at attending the University
Of Rochester, Columbia and Virginia.
IMPACT Note: Alex's great
speed makes her an ideal lead-off hitter. Her swing is rated as
one of the most beautiful in the County and is considered technically
perfect by IMPACT. |

Alex
is a freshman at SUNY Cortland where he will play hardball. He starred
at Hilton High for 4 years while playing first base He was also
the Cadets starting quarterback for 4 years. Alex had a .385 career
batting average while achieving All-County status 3 years in a row
- in both sports. He also played American legion ball for 4 years.
Alex decided on baseball over football at Cortland because of his
love for the game.
IMPACT Note: Alex was
a student and instructor at IMPACT for 2 years. The very talented
player impacts the ball almost every time at bat. He is another
player who lines the ball for hits and will only go for the long
ball if he gets a pitch in his power zone. |

Leah Fedrizzi
Leah
is a 2007 graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High. She was their
starting pitcher the last 3 years. Leah, besides being a very
fine pitcher, is also a very fine hitter. She was voted All-county
last season because of her pitching and hitting. She was near
the top in most offensive categories for Sutherland. She has played
amateur summer ball for many years. She is attending college in
Philadelphia.
IMPACT Note: This past
season was her second as an IMPACT student and first as an instructor.
She was voted as one of the 3 most improved hitters in the 2006
IMPACT class.

Sam
graduated from Webster Thomas this past season where she was the
shortstop for the Titans. It was her 3rd year on Varsity. She now
attends SUNY Geneseo where she plans on playing softball. Sam has
played summer ball for many years and played with Castle Fireball
team in 2007. Sam has been an IMPACT student for 4 years and last
season was her first as an instructor.
IMPACT Note: Sam is a
pure, or line drive, hitter whose specialty is hitting the gap between
left and center. She has very fast hands and good wrists which allows
her to pull almost any pitch to left field. |

Harman
Jess
is a senior at Penfield High. She will be entering her 5th year
of varsity softball. She is a 3 time All-County selection and was
named to the inaugural All-Greater Rochester Team. Jess was named
the Outstanding Player of the 2005 Section 5 Division 1 Softball
Tournament as a freshman. She is entering her 3rd varsity basketball
season. Last year she was named 2nd team All-County in that sport.
She is entering her 3rd season as an IMPACT instructor.
IMPACT Note: Jess is
one of the best hitters in our area. She is a leverage hitter who
has a very smooth swing. She is an outstanding catcher. |

Nina
is junior at Sutherland High School. She has been playing softball,
in her words, "for as long as I can remember". She is
a second year varsity starter having made the team as a freshman.
Her 2007 high school season was shortened by the broken thumb so
she only played 10 of 18 games. However, when she did play, she
was the clean-up hitter. She hit .486 (18 for 37) and hit 11 singles,
4 doubles, 3 triples. She also plays summer ball and dreams of playing
in college.
IMPACT Note: Nina is
a pure hitter with exceptional power. She will only go for a long
ball if she gets a pitch in her power spot. This will be her 4th
year as an IMPACT student and 1st as an instructor. |

Kelly
Kowal
Kelly
has been playing competitive softball since fourth grade. She started
7th grade on the freshman team at Webster Thomas. From 8th grade
to sophomore year, she played on JV. She played for the Webster
Xtreme 12U, 14U and 16U teams. She plays centerfield and second
base and usually bats lead off. As a junior this year, she will
play varsity ball. She also plays volleyball, basketball, and does
Ukrainian Dance. The honor role student volunteers as a religion
teacher. This will be her 2nd year as an instructor.
IMPACT Note: Kelly is
a technically sound hitter with exceptional power. She is outstanding
defensively. |

Amanda
Leferman
Amanda is one of the bright young power hitters in our area. This
year she is a sophomore at Pittsford Mendon High School. Lat season,
she hit over .500 for the Mendon JV team which included 4 homers,
2 triples and 5 doubles. During the season, she played for the Pittsford
Cyclone 14U team and hit just under .500 with 4 homers, 2 triples
and 4 doubles. She has been playing softball "ever since I
can remember", IMPACT Note:
Amanda is in her 4th year as an IMPACT student and her first
as an instructor. Amanda's power enables her to consistently hit
long drives to the outfield. |

Kate
McManus
Kate
is a sophomore at Pittsford Sutherland. She played varsity softball
for them last season as a freshman. This past summer, playing for
the Pittsford Cyclones 14U team, she batted .480 wI a .495 on-base
% and .824 slugging %. The third-baseman led the 14U Cyclones in
offense with 37 RBI's, 15 extra base hits and a team-high 7 home
runs including a grand slam in the ASA Eastern Nationals. In that
tourney, she hit .684 with 3 homers and 15 RBI's.
IMPACT Note: Kate is
another technically sound and very good torsion hitter. This is
her 3rd year at IMPACT and her first as an instructor. |

Olivia
is now a sophomore at Division 1 Hartford University where she starts
and plays first base for their varsity softball team. She graduated
from Eastridge High where she played varsity softball as a pitcher
and first baseman for 5 years. Among her many, many awards was being
a 4 time All-County selection in softball. Olivia also played basketball
on varsity for 5 years. Olivia was president of her class at Eastridge.
IMPACT Note: If you ever
wondered who is the most powerful hitter to come out of our area,
you are looking at her. It has been said that when Olivia hits a
ball, it stays hit. This will be her 3rd year as an IMPACT student
and her third year as an instructor. |

Kasey
Pollot is a sophomore at Pittsford Sutherland High School. She has
been the starting shortstop since 8th grade and has a cumulative
batting average of .477. Kasey was selected as Bird's Eye Player
of the Week twice this year and she is a Monroe County Division
III First Team player. Kasey has played for the Wildfire and Lady
Lions and is now a member of the Castle Fireball 18U team.
IMPACT Note: Kasey is
the best young hitter in our area since Holly Seidewand. She is
a pure hitter who possesses raw power when she gets a pitch in her
power zone. Kasey is a very good all around player. |

Allen
is a freshman at Irondequoit High School where he is a straight
"A" student. He played freshman ball as an 8th grader
last year. Allen plays the outfield. This will be his third year
at the Impact Hitting School. It will be his first year as an instructor
where he will be working with the younger boys.
IMPACT Note: Allen, like
his sister Kate, is a very technically correct hitter. He will be
a great hitter for Irondequoit because of his quickness to the ball.
He is also very quick on the base paths and will probably hit high
in the batting order. |

Kate
is a junior at Junior at Irondequoit High School where she is a
straight "A" student. This coming season will be her third
year of varsity softball. She will be captain on the team in 2008.
She plays catcher and outfield. This season will be her 4th year
at Impact hitting School and her second as an instructor. She also
runs on girls' varsity cross country team.
IMPACT Note: Kate has
been voted the number one technically correct swing at IMPACT. She
has been selected for the cover of the 2007-08 IMPACT handbook. |

Holly
is now in her 2nd year at Alfred University after graduating from
Webster Thomas. Among her many, many awards, is being a 2 time All-State
player. She broke the Alfred school record for hits in her freshman
year. She also tied the record for doubles.
IMPACT Note: Although
Holly is generally known for her great pitching exploits, and one
of the best pitchers ever to come out of Monroe County, she is,
in our humble opinion, the best hitter to ever come out of the area.
She has been an IMPACT student for 7 years and will be in her 4th
year as an instructor. She is a pure hitterline drive snap
hitterwho spends hours on perfecting a flawless torsion swing. |

Kelly
is a junior at Pittsford Sutherland High School. This is her 3rd
season playing for the varsity softball team. She is a pitcher and
outfielder. This past summer, she played her second consecutive
season for the Webster Xtreme 16U team. In the past, she played
three years for the Pittsford Cyclones. She also has played Varsity
field hockey since her sophomore year.
IMPACT Note: Kelly was
one of the 3 most improved hitters this past season at IMPACT. Her
smooth quick swing allows her to hit with straight arms and gives
her the capability to hit many line drives. This coming winter will
be her 4th year at IMPACT and her second as an instructor. |

Danielle
is a Junior and Captain of the Pittsford Sutherland varsity softball
team. She is projected to be the starting pitcher for the team and
will bat in the middle of the lineup. This will be her 4th season
as an IMPACT student and her second as an instructor. She played
for the Cobras during this past summer season.
IMPACT Note: Danielle
was selected as one of the 3 most improved hitters at the IMPACT
school for last season. Danielle's very smooth swing and wrist snap
releases a lot of power. She is also a very good outfielder which
she plays when not pitching. |

Lindsay
Stowell
Lindsay
plays softball for the Ganada High School varsity team. Last season,
as a freshman, she played 3rd base. The team went to the Section
V Class C final game and Lindsay was selected to the Section V Class
Call-star team. This past summer, she played centerfield for the
New Era Lightning Elite team which finished in 3rd place in the
Pony 14U national tourney. In a preliminary tourney, she earned
the MVP award at the Keystone Cup Tournament in Carlisle, PA. In
the Aunt Rosie's tournament, she .900 in a single day and had 3
triples.
IMPACT Note: Lindsay
is one of the top 2 centerfielders our area. She is one of the few
5 tool players in Monroe County. |
